Needless to say, I sent her a personal message.  I attempted to check myself and keep it positive (although the same couldn’t be said for her).  But, you can never quite say how people will receive what is being said.  Anyway – it’s 2k10 and one of my quests is to deal with things head on… politely but head on.

And what an exciting year it’s going to be! Let’s go!

This already has provided me with hours of great music. What a find!

It’s funny that I’m spending more time on Facebook these days than my beloved Twitter.   Somewhat because of Uno… yep – I’m addicted!  But also because there are a lot of folks that are there and are not on twitter so…

I can NOT believe the end of the year is knocking.  So many goals not adhered to.  I guess I’ll have to re-up up them for anewYEAR.  sad!

Performance evaluation tomorrow.  Not looking forward to that.  At all.  I’m always working myself into a tizzy which ends up being for no reason.  I expect this year will be no different.  Having a hard time though thinking of some career goals.  I guess because my heart is entrepreneursville.

I’m quite paranoid about h1n1.  Every time I hear a sneeze around me, I swear the person has it and immediately began feeling symptoms LOL.  No one that I know or has talked to, has had the shot/antivirus – whatever it is.  I’m very much torn on it AND they never have them in my area.

OK… ok… enough randomness for one day.  Back to work!

Today is the birthday of one of my best buds. If it isn’t enough that she and are are literally days apart, both from Texas, both have sisters named Moni, both love music… we are also, both undeniably nutty! I was chatting with my friend KB, who asked how and when we met… I couldn’t for the life of me remember. True to twin nature, where one fails the other rises. According to Ms. Honey, we met when she contacted me on myspace about the Jill Scott CD that was being released. I had a flyy layout up featuring Jilly and she was right to assume I would be interested. I think that cd must have been ‘Beautifully Human’, which came out in 2004. That is a looooong time. LOL

Somewhere around 2005, I think we reached the height of our nuttiness. We came up with the idea of forming a duo similar to Floetry. I thought I had lost the files, but right in time to toast Ms. Honey’s birthday ~ I’ve found it! LOL *smh* You are not ready for this.

Since then we’ve gone through a lot of ups and downs in life and shared many experiences. Most of which has been via chat, telephone or email. In 2007 we met face to face and did damage all up and through Houston! LOL She is a great and wonderful friend, and our relationship is proof that you need not see folks face to face, nor on a daily basis to forge lifelong and meaningful relationships! Love ya V!
